editorial
this editorial talks about a new train thatll be considered "high speed" although it only goes 110 mph. In many other countries there are trains that actually reach 125, yet arent even considered high speed. This train may be good for short trips due to a speed difference, or even saving the enviorment and time due to no weather delays. Yet i believe its ridiculous that they are even talking about this in an editorial. Its a waste of time and effort to write an artical on this and express feelings on a trains speed. As the article is closed it quotes, "President Eisenhower approved construction of highways so lets get on with it", which is the truth and adds humor to the piece.

Editorial
This week I read about the fairfax county board changing the sleep times for middle schools, highschools, and elementary schools. If passed, highschools would start at 820 while middle schools at 930. The problem with this would be elementary school students would get home before older kids causing many issues. A recent meeting reported that this is not going to pass this year but may in the future. With investigations in saving money with bus roots this may come into effect even next year. I think this sleep thing is good considering I'm always so tired in school yet I don't think students will get more sleep because theyll stay up later.
