CLINTONS SAX SOLD AT AUCTION FOR AIDS RESEARCH
Washington post

Bill Clinton’s saxophone and Robert Pattinsons “lips” were helped raise money to help people fight AIDS. Clintons sax being sold at Cannes Film Festival for $180,000 while two kisses from the Twilight star were auctioned at $28,000 each. Sharon Stone hosted the event on Thursday night and urged people to give generously and forget about the economy for one night. The proceeds of the event go to the American Foundation for AIDS research that also is lined with HIV research. This auction was more popular then any other with more A stars and a record of $10 million raised. Clinton quoted that he was at the event with people who show life lessons and spill life stories as a living. He told people that you don’t need movies or novels to make a story, yet everyone has their own and every time someone dies of AIDS in the world, that light made has disappeared. Other items at the auction were a Fiat 500 for $111,000 and a Karl Lagerfeld guitar case filled with champagne for $42,000. Many famous singers sang and entertained guests at the event and dedicated songs to those with AIDS.
